Description jsc 2007-05-24 13:11:37 UTC
After correcting the database properties of an initially wrong created database
document (open csv file when trying to insert mailmerge fields in writer) the
save button was disabled and i can't save my changes. I have tried to reproduce
it several times but couldn't reproduce it every time.

fs->jsc: http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/basic_rules.html#reproducibility
I suggest you
- attach the database/csv file which you used
- describe step-by-step what you are doing

Thanks :)

Comment 3 jsc 2007-05-24 14:40:22 UTC
of course, here a more detailed description what i have done

1. create new writer document
2. insert fields -> other -> mailmerge -> click on browse on the right side
3. select csv file
4. new datasource "values" -> not usable
5. view DataSources
6. edit Database
7. change Database -> Properties
8. change from txt to csv source
9. database wasn't changed or at least the save button was disabled

Hmm - unfortunately I cannot reproduce this with 680m214, nor with OOo 2.2. I
know you said "I ... couldn't reproduce it every time", but this makes it hard
to address this issue ...

correct 'state' to 'worksforme'
Comment 6 christoph.lukasiak 2007-09-03 14:36:39 UTC
clu->jsc: is that bug still repro in a current version?
Comment 7 christoph.lukasiak 2007-10-23 09:00:15 UTC
no repro, no respond -> close

do not hesitate to reopen this issue if it still occurs in a current version
