Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 76135
Don't care about SAMBA lock file, open in read/write mode.
Last modified: 2007-04-13 08:59:41 UTC
When opening a file located in a SAMBA mount directory, the document is opened in read/write mode, even if it is locked by an other application. When saving this document, of course an error occurs.
On the Samba client, which Linux distribution and version? Which Samba version? What is the mount command (command line or /etc/fstab)? Which operating system and version is the Samba server?
File server machine : Linux RedHat 7.2, kernel 2.4.7-10 samba 2.2.12-4 Client machine : Linux RedHat 7.2, kernel 2.4.7-10 machine OpenOffice 2.1 samba client 2.2.12-4 The file system is mounted with the /etc/fstab line : //serv/Data /mnt/servdata smbfs auto,exec,uid=501,gid=500,rw,password="" 0 0

Framework issue.
Should have been reassigned to Framework/UI.
Duplicate to #76073. Please check also if file-locking is enabled or not. Have a look at the readme ! *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 76073 ***
