Description fabienv 2007-04-05 16:28:03 UTC
When opening a file located in a SAMBA mount directory, the document is opened
in read/write mode, even if it is locked by an other application.
When saving this document, of course an error occurs.

On the Samba client, which Linux distribution and version? Which Samba
version? What is the mount command (command line or /etc/fstab)?

Which operating system and version is the Samba server?

samba 2.2.12-4

Client machine :

Framework issue.
Comment 5 michael.ruess 2007-04-10 09:14:56 UTC
Should have been reassigned to Framework/UI.
Comment 6 thorsten.martens 2007-04-12 14:24:57 UTC
Duplicate to #76073. Please check also if file-locking is enabled or not. Have a
look at the readme !
