Description oorene 2007-03-23 12:42:00 UTC
When I open a html file consisting of tabular data and an image file (e.g. a pie
chart generated from the ttabular data), the data appears satisfactorily.
However, the image associated with the html file disappears. How can I see the
image in calc, adjacent to the tabular data, ideally?

Hi,

tried it with your sample using OOo2.2 and could not reproduce using the HTML
Import filter for Calc. The png is shown after import.

If the Chart you've mentioned is generated from the data, Calc can't display it
because it has no import function for such Charts generated probably by Excel or
a like.

This error occurs when scalc is specified by another software product as the
application to use.

For example the report (graph and table) is generated by a java application and
the application allows the report to be viewed and edited in another program (in
this case, scalc is displayed).

It is this scenario where scalc fails to show the graph. When other applications
are specified (e.g. amaya) the graph and table are succesfully displayed.

Hi Niklas,

starting Calc from command line with scalc and path to the file opens it but the
Pixel graphic isn't shown.

Please have a look at this one.
