Description robert.kinsella 2002-09-06 15:43:03 UTC
Linux RedHat 7.2 glibc 2.2.4, OpenOffice.org 643.

Open a new document
Select View - Toolbars - Formaul Bar.

The formula bar appears but several of the options from all menus disappear.
e.g. under view, the only option is toolbars, but nothing can be selected.
Also Exit is missing from the File menu.
The user must kill OpenOffice.org and restart it in order to get the menus
back.
Comment 1 Martin Hollmichel 2002-09-09 13:31:20 UTC
this seems to be a feature, press F2 again and old menu are back again.
Comment 2 robert.kinsella 2002-09-09 16:04:57 UTC
If it is a feature, I suggest it should be removed. The appearance of
any toolbar should not cause several of the menu items to disappear.
Comment 3 robert.kinsella 2002-09-11 17:20:26 UTC
At a minimum the user should still have the option to turn off the
formula bar under view-toolbars
Comment 4 eric.savary 2002-11-28 11:37:24 UTC
ES->FL: yes, the possibility to turn off the toolbart over the
corresponsdonding menu should be given.
Comment 5 frank.loehmann 2002-11-29 08:34:56 UTC
FL->OS: IS it still really necessary to disable all slots if this
bar is show?
Comment 6 eric.savary 2003-09-30 16:59:25 UTC
According to the OpenOffice.org roadmap
(http://tools.openoffice.org/releases) this issue was retargeted to
OOo Later.
