Description caiot1 2007-03-14 03:26:59 UTC
It segfaults at SvxSwAutoFmtFlags::SvxSwAutoFmtFlags when deleting outlines with
backspace.

Steps to reproduce:
 1 - Create an outline
 2 - Add two items
3 - Press the backspace key until to delete the outline

The crash is related to EditEngine as well as issue #71063, but the issue there
is due to a EditEngine for each one of the windows.

This does not happen on Windows XP.

I couldn't find at hand any version to confirm this is a regression (he).

Do you use an official OOo version? Have you been asked to send a crash report
and did you do so? Which email/description did you use? I need it to look it up
in the database. Thanks in advance.
Comment 3 caiot1 2007-03-15 03:33:30 UTC
Not at that time :D (it wasn't either a official neither one of my own).

I've sent one right now with "Issue 75377" on the subject, allowed Sun to
contact me at my OOo address (just downloaded the RC3 RPMs from OOo, md5sum OK).

A GDB stack would help anything more than the crash report?

The exact system configuration is:
Pentium 4 HT Prescott, 1GB of RAM
running Ubuntu Edgy.

I couldn't reproduce that on a Debian stable box at my college.
You may ask about the exact version of some packages you want.

I haven't built m12 myself yet.

Reassigned.
Comment 5 christian.guenther 2007-04-18 09:50:05 UTC
As far as I know Ubuntu build the office by their own therefore I think that's a
bug in the Ubuntu build of OOo.
Please tell me if the bug also occurs in the 'official' OOo build from
Openoffice.org.
Comment 6 caiot1 2007-04-18 22:29:49 UTC
cgu: I've tested with the official OOF680_m12 on both places. I've verified
MD5SUM, etc.
I can't reproduce that one on the box I'm right now, but I may try to reproduce
this bug on the other box.
wg asked for the report ID and I can give you a GDB stack trace of a debug build
if you want.

In my mind it's a ubuntu bug but nevertheless please attach the gdb stack. Maybe
it gives a hint what is going wrong here.
