Calc disables AutoFormat as long as the selected cell range consits of less than
three rows or less than three columns.

(1) There is no reason why AutoFormat should not be performed to a selection of
3x2, 2x3, 2x2, 2x1 or 1x2 cells.

(2) When only one single cell is selected, AutoFormat should automatically
recognize the current region, just like AutoFilter or Sort do.

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)

Can not implement format consisting of header, data, total on less than three rows.
