Description issues@www 2001-04-20 07:41:37 UTC
After opening a file called, say, fred.ppt with OOo, the filename should appear
in the name stripe.

currently OOo displays "untitled1 - OpenOffice Presentation 625"
Comment 1 issues@www 2001-04-20 07:59:56 UTC
Actually it says "No slide title - OpenOffice.org 625"

Sorry about the addition - I wanted to check the title if
I opened a StarOffice ".sdd" file (as opposed to opening
a powerpoint file) whilst I was writing the report
but OOo crashed and I needed to reboot to get it runnigjagain
in order to verify the exact message.

As enhancement it goes to productmanagement.

If "name stripe" is the caption bar than this will worgk in the next release.
Comment 4 issues@www 2001-07-27 11:31:35 UTC
The name stripe is the line on the top of the window.
if you are reading this with a browser, it's the one which has the "X" in
to cloise the window, _ to minimise and so on. I don't know if this is what you
refer to as the caption bar.

633 still exhibits this - it seems to try and create a name/caption/what ever
from the title entered into the file properties, and the OpenOffice 633 name.
In my view it also ought to include the real file name as well.

Although you say this is an enhancement I consider this still broken.
At the moment I have 3 different files open, all of which have
windows titled "No slide title - OpenOffice.org 641". When I use
File Open in (for instance) Impress, in "Open Existing File" it lists
3 files as "No Slide Title" only.

This is a major inconvenience for OOo - why can't we put the filename
out as well? In contrast to what the issue 747 says, this is _not_
fixed (for me on my systems anyway) as falko says in his reposnse...
