Description Unknown 2002-09-03 11:34:14 UTC
When trying to save file in Writer using the File -> Save or Save as ... command Oo v1.0.1 crashes with a message "An urecoverable error has occured".
This happens when saving as an Oo document, template or web page. Saving as MS word document, RTF of text file goes without any problems.

Thanks for taking the time to post this issue Chavdar.

Could you please list more details or the exact method to reproduce
this error?

Where are you trying to save the files? Is it a local drive or a
network drive?

Do you have any crash logs you can attach to this issue?

(Caroline Gacanja 09/11/02)

I was unable to reproduce this issue, using a PC with Windows 2000 as
the OS and Open Office version 1.0.1

Here are the steps I followed:
1. Open an existing OO Writer document.
2. Select File from the menu bar and select Save As.
3. Specify the drive (C:/My Documents/) and type in a new filename.
4. In the "Save As Type" drop down list, select "Web Page
   (OpenOffice.org Writer)".
5. Click on Save command.

Note: Tried saving it as an OO Text Document Template too and that
      works fine.
