Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 73640
repaint problems with "Rotate text" control
Last modified: 2013-07-30 02:14:25 UTC
In axis properties, Label tab when "Rotate text" dial is rotated by typing the number of degrees the "ABCD" text is not correctly repainted - see attached screenshot (rotate-text.PNG). Repro steps: open http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/42289/chart.xls, second sheet, double-click the chart, r- click the chart, choose "Axis", "X Axis", Label tab and type something other than 90 in "degrees". Observe redraw problem.

I also get the same problem with OOo 2.1 on Windows XP Home Edition SP1. This problem can be reproduced regardless of the chart type you create as it seems to be a problem to do with the user interface.
confirmed. @IHA: please have a look.
This is not a special chart problem. For example the text rotation control in calc 'Format - Cells... - Alighment' does show the same problem. IHA->OS: The rotation control itself seems to be broken. Could you have a look please. Thanks.
->dr: Your control?

DR->PL: in svx/source/dialog/dialcontrol.cxx, function DialControlBmp::CopyBackground(), the function VirtualDevice::DrawBitmapEx is called (line #117), using the virtual device rSrc with alpha channel. The bitmap in rSrc contains an opaque circle while the edges are transparent. This circle is drawn semi-transparent over the own bitmap, expected is that this circle is drawn opaque.
