With a new blank document in Writer, I copied text directly from the Khmer
Wikipedia site (I did this several times, with text from several different
pages; from 10KB to 90KB in size).

Version 2.0 did not even display any part of the text on a page before crashing
and vanishing. Version 2.1, just installed this evening, displayed the text long
enough for me to go to Options and change the default CTL text to Khmer OS
Freehand (from Khmer OS). 

As soon as I began to drag the scroll bar down to see the lower text, Writer
just vanished from the screen.

The same text (from different tries) pastes into MS Word successfully and is
able to be edited and exported.

I am an English speaker who is studying Khmer, not a native Khmer speaker.
