When a certain type of hyperlink (copied from the Help system) is clicked in
Writer, the existing document is replaced and all changes lost.

The attached file demonstrates / says it all.

ES->MBA: ok, this is not a daily task that refering to an internal Help link in
a document, but could we do something else with i.e vnd links?

Thanks for the prompt response. I recognise it's a bit unusual (or it would 
have been P2) but sometimes killing a bug like this that is reproducible can 
solve or prevent other issues...
