Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 71632
Autocorrect writes its file into wrong path
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:15:47 UTC
In Tools - Options - OOo - Paths add two custome paths to the list for Autocorrect. Select one of your new paths as writeable. Close OOo, restart OOo. Add a new entry to the autocorrect list. Close OOo. Expected: OOo writes the new autocorrect file to the "writeable" path, which is the last in the list in Tools - Options - OOo - Paths. Seen behaviour: OOo writes the new autocorrect file to the first path entry in the list in Tools - Options - OOo - Paths.
Confirmed. See also discussion (in German) on http://groups.google.de/group/de.comp.office-pakete.staroffice.misc/browse_thread/thread/586ab5b6858891b1/c05818767ae49ed4?hl=de#c05818767ae49ed4 This is true also for AutoText paths.
Reassigned to SBA.
regina, please specify what is "writeable". I do not see anythign like that in GUI.
Goto Tools - Options - OOo - Paths Click "AutoCorrect" and then button "Edit" Add a custom paths. You see radiobuttons on the left side. The selected path is the "writeable" path. In the UI it is called "Mark the default path for new files".
Confirming with OO 2.0.4. on WinXP.
SBA->OS: Unlike in OOo 2.0, the path settings now offer a radio button to set a default path. This woks for i.e. Autotext, but not for AutoCorrect settings.
move target to 3.x according http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x
This should be fixed at 3.0 latest.
target 3.0
target 3.x
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
