Description Joost Andrae 2006-11-16 10:46:38 UTC
If I want to add an extension and if that extension cannot be installed due to
an error within the extension then the error message (modal message box) is
shown behind the extension manager. Without moving the extension manager to a
different place on the desktop the application stays unresponsive. Probably it's
a problem related to Gnome.

I took the OOoTabbed extension from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/oootabbrowse/ which doesn't run due to
incompatibilities

pl->jl: without the correct parent it's the window manager's decision where a
window appears, including stacking order. Since you told me that the errorbox
appears in another process then the dialog, there' s nothing i can do. It would
be better if you had the UI in one process.
