Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 71510
slide pane does not work in with multiple monitor presentation
Last modified: 2007-02-13 14:32:58 UTC
To reproduce 1. Start OpenOffice.org on system with multiple displays (or under Xnest) 2. Start a multiple monitor presentation with multiple slides 3. On the control monitor, click a slide in the slide pane. Results: The display monitor changes to the chosen slide (good). 4. On the control monitor, right click the normal slide window (in the center) and enable the navigator. 5. In the navigator, choose another slide. Results: On the control monitor, the slide does not change. 6. Repeat step #3. Results: Now the display monitor does *not* change slides (bad). System: Xnest 7.0 with two windows OpenOffice.org version OOE680_m2 Fedora Core 5
Reassigned for testing.
I can't reproduce the bug. I'm not able to use the office when the presentation is running. Therefore I also can't change the slides of the running presentation whith changing the slides in the slide sorter view. Maybe it's a xnest bug. Does the bug occures also with xephyr. Please have a look if this also occures with a dual head graphics card (or 2 graphics cards) and 2 monitors.
I get no answer since nov.17 2006 therefore I close the issue as works for me.

The bug still exists. Today I tested on Dell Latitude notebook, Fedora Core 5, OpenOffice.org 2.1. The system is a real dual head, and desktops are setup for individual desktops. In this case, it breaks at step 5 instead of step 6. (In other words, it's never possible to change slides on the second using the slide pane on the first monitor. However, slide pane does change the normal view on the first monitor.)
Sorry, I meant: "In this case, it breaks at step **3** instead of step 6"
This will be a part of the presenter view therefore this issue is duplicate to issue 18486 *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 18486 ***
I close the bug as duplicate.
