Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 70114
WW8: exported custom footnotes are not correctly re-imported
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:22:17 UTC
If I insert footnotes by Insert>Footnote>Character and choose to insert a xx (such as 14, 15, 17, 26), save that document in doc format, close it, and open it again with OpenOffice, I see that it exported those footnotes as "1 4 footnote text" instead of "14 footnote text". I'll attach the files.
Created attachment 39568 [details] Original text in odt format
Created attachment 39569 [details] File in word format: see the footnotes like 14, 15...
Created attachment 39570 [details] what I am suppose to see, in pdf format
Created attachment 39571 [details] what I am actually seeing (the bug)
I am using ubuntu 6.06 with OOo 2.0.2. Also, could you by any chance delete the first paragraph of the text files (where it says "çeviren [means: translator]"), if you can? I forgot my name in there :)
MRU->HBRINKM: when inserting footnote of custom format (enter e.g. 16 as "character in footnote dialog) and exporting this to WW8 format, the re-import will fail to process these custom footnote characters correctly. Only the first character will now belong to the footnote character, the second is now part of the footnote text.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
