Every time I try to launch an open office application writer etc, I get an 
error:"
"Soffice has caused an error in MSVCRT.Dll Soffice will now close."

are you still able to open the Calc, Impress and other modules without
getting the same message?

I've been trying to reproduce this incident on a WinME PC but I was
not able to reproduce it. 
We need more information on your issue, because even though you clearly 
describe the error message, we still lack information on your machine
and the circumstances of the crash. (According to the DLL it is more
related to Windows than OOo).
I'm sorry, but unless more details are given, I will have to change
the status to WORKSFORME.
