The file, i tried to open was an MS Excel 2003 Workbook .XML format, contains
Hebrew strings.

nicha_s: Could you provide the document?  That would help a lot.

Also, you are using a version of OpenOffice.org that is both modified (by Fedora
Core) and outdated.  Could you please test with an up-to-date, official version
from http://download.openoffice.org ?  Version 2.0.3 has been out for some
months, and version 2.0.4 is due Tuesday.
