Description daniel_albers 2006-08-28 21:32:02 UTC
For each write to a Samba share from Open Office 2.02 on the KDE 3.5 desktop on
FreeBSD 6.1, seven of the following messages are written to /var/log/messages:

   smb_maperror: Unmapped error 1:158

The share is defined in /etc/fstab as:
   //dan@sataraid/computing!       /computing      smbfs   rw      0       0

The authorization for access is via /etc/nsmb.conf which contains:
   [SATARAID:DAN]
   addr=satar5.kpfa.lan
   password=xxxxxxxxxx

The messages do not appear when writing to the share using the vi editor in a
terminal session opened on the KDE desktop.
