Description dawn_of_ai 2006-08-23 12:33:42 UTC
I have a ~100mb document. It contains lots of jpegs (100+) that are not
anchored. Even if I anchor them, they are misplaced after reopening the document
(always misplaced, new placing seem to be random ?!). Misplacement does not seem
to occur with small documents.

After opening the above mentioned document, scroll to the middle of the file and
make an attempt to type fast -> Crash. It takes much longer for this problem to
show up if typing really slowly for some time.

My system is 2ghz celeron, 512mgb RAM (but RAM does not seem to cause this
problem, the document is loaded 108mb and there is still 100mb free, according
to TaskManager).

BTW, where, for god's sake, is the self-update function in UI (that works!). I
have to download every time, manually ?!

Could you please try out with newer OO 2.0.3 build or even OO 2.0.4 RC build.
We have fixed some things regarding the positioning of all object types so
please try out with your special document. After opening and correcting the
postions these should remain after another saving & reopening.
If you still experience the problem, you should provide a locaion where we could
download the file so that we can evaluate the issue. thanks a lot!
