Some time OO1.1 writer started crashing on startup after the splash screen. 
Windows says "crashrep.exe has caused an access violation" (or the like). I 
uninstalled OO1.1 and switched to OO2.0: same picture. I uninstalled OO2.0, 
restarted the pc, removed all files under "program files", "%
windir%/application data/openoffice2.0", removed all registry keys under 
HKLM/Software/sun, ../staroffice, found none under HKLU/software/sun, 
staroffice, openoffice or oo. Made a new installation, same thing, crashrep 
crashed. Write the document using good old wordpad.
Folks, this is really shit.

"Folks, this is really shit." Submitter, this is really the wrong sound. Please
give a detailed step by step description how to reproduce. How has OOo been
installed and where. Which operating system? Where downloaded from? This is not
a general problem of OOo and looks like it is related to your system.

Due to missing any further information and being not reproducible -> closed as
