Description parity 2006-08-07 18:33:52 UTC
OpenOffice.org Impress cannot handle big posters (see Issue 50245).

When importing a Powerpoint presentation with a page width or height of more
than 119 cm, this page size is set to 119 cm. The problem is that this is not
done proportionally. If one size is 140 cm and the other one is 100 the new size
in OpenOffice.org will be 119 cm and 100 cm.

This should be done proportionally or the page size should be able to be set as
least as in Powerpoint.

Since OpenOffice.org Impress (or Draw) is perfect for creating posters (for
scientific poster sessions) it is a big problem that only a max. size of 119cm
is possible.

Hello,

this bug was fixed. I am not quite sure, whether is was fixed by OOo 2.4 or even
before. Now a bigger pagesize is possible in Impress.
