Description caolanm 2006-07-26 12:00:11 UTC
In the "numbering" tab of the outline numbering dialog "reset" button doesn't
work very well, e.g. on level 7 set start at to 10 and click reset, click on
level 7 and it is still 10.

But on the options tab of "bullets and numbering" if you click on level 7, make
it 10, click reset, and return to level 7, it is correctly reset to 1

MRU->OS: The "Reset" butoon in the Tools.Outline numbering dialog (for the
"Numbering" tab page) does not work at all. None of any changed values will be
resetted if clicked.
Though it is not broken functionality, I think it is important enough not to put
it in "later" pool.

In outline numbering tab 'numbering' I can't find a reset-button.
Do you mean in German the 'Zurück' button? I think so.

Click on the 'Zurück'-button and press F1. On the help page you can find three
entries for 'Zurück'. The second is the one for 'bullets and numbering', the
third for 'outline numbering'. Under this conditions the behaviour is correct.

The help in this case is indead confusing.

May be that in the English vesrion of OOo the terms are more different. But I
don't know. I am using a German OOo 2.0.3 under WinXP Home SP2.

Still Reproducible with server installation of "AOO 4.1.0-Beta – German UI / German locale - [AOO410m14(Build:9760) - Rev. 1573601 2014-03-03 17:47:48]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile.

I think jolatt confuses [Back] and [< Back], what unfortunately is not distinguished in Help.

Assignee back to list due to facts.

Still a problem in LibO 4.2
