Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 67451
Wrong Page Break if page number is resetted
Last modified: 2006-07-17 14:17:57 UTC
I use the German version of OpenOffice.org. I hope all my translations in this issuereport are correct. 1. Create a new Document 2. In "Styles and Formatting"-window: right-click on "Heading 1" and "change". 3. In register "textflow": declare that a page-break with page layout "standard" and pagenumber 0 (no change) should be made, everytime this heading is used. 4. Press "ok". 5. In the document: Press "Enter 2 times" 6. Now create a manual page break with page layout "standard" and reset the page number to "1". 7. If you now create a "Heading 1" at the top of the page and empty page (which cannot be seen) is inserted. You can see that page if you change the view to "page layout" (the button which is normally besides the "printing" button). You can also see this, if you print the document. 8. This does not happen, if a manual page break without page layout setting is done.
This is the Book-Layout of OO Writers page concept. An odd page number is always a right page. See issue 3910 for further information. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 3910 ***
