Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 66768
"no wrap" for grahics is not safed properly in xml
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Hallo, I import a png-file. I click the imported file with right mouse button and choose no wrap for wrap. The file is safed and opend again: The wraping for the graphic is then 'Wrap Through' (witch I did not choose). I think this is a bug. Please feel free to ask if you need more information. with best regards Thomas Zahreddin

@tzahreddin: Do you also see the radio button changed when you open the context menu after you saved the document? Do you really have a problem that wrap mode changes? Please attach a sample file!
Hallo, i have another example .doc: one picture should cover the whole page in the background and it should be writen on the page / picture. The file was created with word. The picture and it properties are right but I can't edit the text with this properties (Background, no wraping). regards Thomas

'musterbrief_190107.doc' seems to be concerning a completely different problem? I checked with "2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]" and can confirm the originally reported problem with "no_wrap.xml". Steps to reproduce: 0. Download "no_wrap.xml" 1. Open "no_wrap.xml" from explorer 'with OOo' Document with text lines and chart-picture will be shown 2. doubleclick image to get the 'wrap-dialogue' 3. check currently selected wrapping mode (what should be 'no wrap' and change to 'No wrap' second text line will move below image as expected 4. save under new name as WIN2003.XML 5. close document 6. reopen document expected: second text line still below image as expected actual : second text line behind image directly after first text line. reason visible in 'wrap-dialogue', selection has changed back to 'wrap through'. I can't decide whether "save as" or "open" problem, because my XML knowledge is too poor. So I experimentally change to Subcomponent "Save as". Evidently same result with "2.1.0 German version WIN XP: [680m6(Build9095)"

ES->MBA: I think we talk here about the Word 2003 XML filter? The warp property saves correctly to odt anyway. Please have a look.
