Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 66755
WW8: Spacings and page breaks following table lost in Word export
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:22:37 UTC
When a table style has margins and/or page breaks as in the following example, they are lost when exporting to Microsoft Word format. <style:style style:name="MyTableStyle" style:family="table"> <style:table-properties fo:break-after="page" fo:margin-top="1cm" style:width="16.999cm" table:align="margins" style:shadow="none"/> </style:style> This is with a Swedish copy of OpenOffice.org. I haven't tested other language versions.
@clayson: Please attach a sample document
Created attachment 37369 [details] ODT document which breaks on Word export
Created attachment 37370 [details] Resulting DOC file after exporting to Word format
I checked with "2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]" and can confirm at least the problem, that in 'Issue66755.doc' the space between Text "Text before table" and table will not be exported correctly. I also tested with a self created document and found that the table property "Spacing above" will not be exported correctly to 'Issue66755.doc': If yo reopen the doc with OOo, you will see "spacing = 0". I also see that "Text after table" is dirctly after table in 'Issue66755.doc', but currently I do not know what the reason for this might be. Reported problems are visible with WORD2000 and also OOo
MRU->HBRINKM: The page break following the table will not be exported to WW8 format.
The spacing in my example is before the table, not following it.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
