Description jeanweber 2006-05-30 02:25:28 UTC
The Contributing to OpenOffice.org page,
http://contributing.openoffice.org/index.html and its linked pages, for example
Writing, http://contributing.openoffice.org/writing.html need to have links to
the page on Guidelines for Participating in OpenOffice.org,
http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/guidelines.html (or the updated version of
that page) in the same way that they have links to licensing information.

A link to the guidelines makes it much easier for a volunteer to be aware of the
guidelines, which are otherwise buried in the "About Us" section where many
people would not think to look for them.

Greetings All,

Will add this to the 'Contributing' pages ASAP. Should be within a day or two.

Kind Regards,
Matthew

Hmmm... Sorry! Coming Soon.... :S
Comment 3 webmaster 2006-07-03 12:35:53 UTC
Sorry for the extended delay - it's amazing how busy you can find yourself at
the most inopportune of times.

I have added a link to the guidelines on the main, programming, writing and
artwork pages, where I felt it was pertinent to do so.

If anything needs correction, or you feel it should be extended to other
subsections, please let me know.

Kind Regards,
Matthew

Whoops - I spoke to soon. I apparently do not have write privileges to this
project. I have requested them of Louis, and if all things go well, it should be
committed tomorrow.

Here's hoping.

My apologies again,
Matthew

As per previous posting: Verified -> Closed.
A Closed Issue is a Happy Issue (TM).
