Description Unknown 2002-07-25 23:59:31 UTC
A document, native or not, can be opened and edited, but when the save routine
is started, the application appears to save the document by displaying the blue
status bar at the bottom of the application. However, once the blue bar reaches
the right hand side and disappears, the application crashes, and the document is
not saved. A file with a ~ character combined with some portion of the original
file name may be present on the hard drive, but it will not open in the
application.

Hello Dave.

Does this problem still exist with OO 1.0.1?

Can you post the file that you are having trouble opening and saving?

Are you trying to save to a network drive or a local drive.

If you could post more information about your system configuration as well as detailed instructions on how to reproduce the problem, it would be much appreciated.

I do not see such a problem

I think we should close that issue, if someone still sees the problem,
the issue can be reopened

Rainer

Closing issue due to inactivity.

Please open a new issue if the problem still exists in the latest
build of OOo.
