Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 6576
Excel filter: Page Settings stripped off
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:55:29 UTC
Problem found in 1.0.0 also. Identical to closed bug http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2002 Repeatable as follows: Just set your always save as options to the M$ version in the Tools -> Options -> Load/Save, create a spreadsheet larger than the page goto Format -> Page... -> Sheet and set Scale - Fit printout on number of pages to 1 (or 2 or 3 etc), turn header and footer off and save (default should be .xls!), close file, open file and look at your page settings! They are not how you set them! Don't know when this got unfixed, but it's not correct now! This is a hinderance in communicating with the outside (M$) world. Happens under GNU/Linux distributions RH7.1 and RH7.3 with OpenOffice 1.0.0 and 1.0.1
