Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 6523
Feature request: print multiple pages per sheet
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
MS Word has a great feature that allows multiple pages to be printed on each sheet of paper. It is really useful to print long documents 2 or 4 pages per sheet, double-sided in order to reduce the amount of paper needed. It would be great to add a feature like this to OOo. David.
Double-sided printing depends on the printer (must be duplex capable. Brochure print: File-Print-Options check "Brochure". -> It's already bilt in.

Additional comments: The printer doesn't have to be duplex capable. It is possible to print odd/even pages seperately. And OOo supports "dumb" n-up printing as well (just print 2 or 4 or ... pages onto a single page, without special rearrangement): Select File-PagePreview and hit the Icon that shows a printer with a hand. Here you can select the orientation, and the number of pages that should be printed onto a single page (including margins). To print hit the button that shows the printer with two pages above the printer
