Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 6467
When selected not to print graphics, they are still shown in print preview!
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:23 UTC
Hi, Just a small thing but worth mentioning. I regularly print documents without the graphics by unchecking the appropriate box in Tools, Options, Text Document, Print. The document prints out fine BUT graphics are still shown in PRINT PREVIEW which made me initially think that my grahics were still on! Thanks, Cheryl Belch
SBA->AMA: Reproducible. This is not the purpose of a print preview.
That's right, we will change this.
Oliver: Please check the print options for the paint preview, not only the mentioned graphic, the other options, too.
.
decreasing priority from P1 to P3, because it's no crash or missing functionality.
Let me add my two cents. In our next version I would like see if we change the name "Page Preview" to "Print Preview". The name "Print Preview" fits much better, because this mode should give me an idea of how printed documents will look like. Additionally the preview should display images in gray values if an printer was selected which could only print in black & white.
proposed fix: set the options used for printing also at the print preview. changed files: /sw/inc/viewsh.cxx, 1.22.2.1.2.1 /sw/source/core/view/viewpg.cxx, 1.16.2.1.2.1 /sw/source/ui/uiview/pview.cxx, 1.38.2.1.2.2 /sw/source/core/doc/notxtfrm.cxx, 1.18.26.1 /sw/source/core/layout/paintfrm.cxx, 1.56.26.1 /sw/source/core/view/vprint.cxx, 1.19.26.1
