If you create a text hyperlink in a cell, and then open the Hyperlink dialog to
edit it, you can change the text link without problems. However, if you try to
change the link to a button it places a new button link over the existing text
link. I would think that the text link would be "overwritten" by the button?

I checked with "2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]" and can
confirm that strange behaviour. You will find the same if you change a hyperlink
within a DRAW Text Element from 'Text' to 'Button', but in WRITER the old
hyperlink containing text will be replaced completely by the button. I can see
some reasons for handling this as it is, for example that there i no reason to
anchor a button image in a text within a cell (You might see similar problems in
WRITER, the button will not replace the text at it's old place).

In CALC and DRAW you also find some unexpected behaviour if you change from
button to Text: The button will remain, and a nes Text hyperlink will be created.

Conclusion
----------
In WRITER the hyperlink view of an existing hypelink will be changed by changing
the "Form" pulldown selection in Hyperlink Dialogue, in DRAW and CALC this
change always will change a new hyperlink including "carrier".

So this issue might be changed to an ENHANCEMENT issue "Differ 'Replace' and
'Change' for "Form" pulldown selection in Hyperlink Dialogue.

I also have observed strange behaviour with hyperlink buttons in Calc,
therefore i think my observations are on the right place here.
A Excel sheet was opened with Calc (2.3.0 german on XP SP2 german) and saved
as .odt file. When i create a hyperlink button in this file the button works as
it should and opens the associated document. But, i can not select this button
to edit or delete the hyperlink or the button itself.
On the other way when i create a hyperlink button in a clean Calc document
(2.0.4 on OpenSuse 10.2 KDE german or 2.3.0 on XP SP2 german) i get a button
with green handles around it, but i can not use it as a hyperlink, it is just
selected when i click on it.
