Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 629
Wrong entry in $HOME/.Xpdefaults crashes soffice
Last modified: 2003-12-06 14:52:34 UTC
There is a interaction between StarOffice (5.2, 6.0) and Lotus Notes client v4.6.2. They use $HOME/.Xpdefaults for printer definitions. If there is a wrong entry in that file put by Lotus Notes, StarOffice will coredump every time trying to open any document.
Printing is your job, Stefan.
PLease verify your findings with oo627. If this still occurs, please send me the suspicious .xpdefaults file. Thank you.
Still waiting for a statement... Maybe Ulf gets more luck. Reassigned.
There is no .Xpdefaults in any OpenOffice version. The printer configuration file is named psprint.conf. Anyway this forum is not to be used for any StarOfficeXY problems. This is OpenOffice.org!!
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
