Description raindrops 2006-03-04 06:07:01 UTC
To set up this experiment, dock the Navigator so that you can see it clearly.

Now open a large file that contains a lot of hyperlinks. Go to the middle of the
file (so that many of the hyperlinks are above your current location).

Now switch to the Navigator and click on the "Hyperlinks" node to open it.
Here is the problem: Only the links that are below your current location will be
shown.

Now try to go up in the file. Look at the Navigator again. The hyperlinks list
is NOT updated to show hyperlinks below your NEW current position.

Close the file and repeat. Each time you see a different hyperlinks list,
depending on where you are.

WHY THIS IS A PROBLEM:
Regardless of where you are, the list is supposed to show all the hyperlinks in
the file. There is no logic why only the remaining hyperlinks should be shown.

***
To avoid the problem, you have to open the "Hyperlinks" node of Navigator right
at the beginning (when you are still at the top of the file). But this is not a
natural way!

The private file I have submitted previously for another bug contains a lot of
hyperlinks, and it can be used to see this problem. (MRU has this file)

Reassigned to ES.

I can't reproduce it.
Please explain where you set your curso, which hyperlinks you expect to see and
so on!

Sorry- Although I keep a watch on all my issues, somehow I missed this one.

It used to appear very consistently, but now I am unable to reproduce it.
Could you please close this as WorksForMe (till I find it again)?

Thanks.

Well, not the same thing, but problem nonetheless.

Actually the enclosed file shows three problems. The screenshots are taken from
the OOo Users' Guide (odt file), which was downloaded from the OOo website.

If required, I will raise other issue(s), or we can simply change the summary of
this issue and carry on.

Thanks.

If it's another problem, it's an other issue.
Also please, only describe one problem per issue.

Issue 63810 raised. This IS one issue (all related aspects).

BTW this issue should be closed as "WorksForMe", not as "Invalid".
(Because we have already separated the new observations)
