Description renatolombardo 2006-03-01 15:04:36 UTC
This code in math: q-w will produce something like this "q- w".
The only way to avoid it is to write q"-"w.
It happens with every minus sign
Debian sid with OOo 2.0.1-2

Looks fine in German OOo202rc3, see screenshot.

Comment 4 renatolombardo 2006-03-16 18:07:18 UTC
I updated to 2.0.2-1 (debian sid package) and now minus sign is tot even shown!
A void rectangles is shown instead.

MRU->HDU: the problem is only reproducable with OpenOffice on Linux.
Have a look at the screenshot I will attach. There you can see, that there must
be a problem with calculating the character width. When selecting a character
the "selection rectangle" does not capture the character correctly.
