- create an empty writer documenrt
- add a rectangle shape (remove the fill) to the document
- increase the line-width to 1cm
- resize the rectangle to a reasonable size, let's say 10x8cm
- change the edge style to "Gehrung" (sorry only have the german name :-( )
- now export this document to PDF
=> you'll see rounded edges in PDF

confirmed with OOo 2.0.2 RC2 on WinXP Pro SP2: corner style mitered (and beveled 
also) is not exported to pdf properly

HI->PL: The edges are always rounded as export result. Also when you set the
rectangle to mitered/Gehrung, beveled/abgeschrägt or none/keine.

fixed in CWS vcl55

A similar problem exists with lineends, i passed that one (issue 62605) to sj.
