Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 62066
Formulas change layout after duplicating slide
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:54:45 UTC
When duplicating slides that contain formulas in OOo impress, the formulas in the duplicated slides change their layout. Sometimes this change is subtle, sometimes more drastic. To reproduce: Open new presentation, enter a formula object, then duplicate slide. Most likely, the duplicated slide will hold a slightly altered formula object. If it doesn't, create a couple of more formula objects and duplicate slides. The effect will appear eventually. Sometimes, upon duplicating a slide, a formula will also appear to be replaced by one that was edited earlier. However, when you then click on the incorrectly copied formula, in the formula editor the correct formula shows up. I will attach a demo presentation that was created in this way and shows the subtle differences in the formula layout.

Reproducible. After activating the OLEs with a doubleclick they look the same. CL thought this might be yours...
I just wanted to make an additional comment: Clicking on the formula helps often, but not always. Sometimes, minor layout differences remain nevertheless (which is annoying if you want to have two successive slides with the same formula). I am not sure if this is the same issue or a second issue.
