Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 62029
changes in picture contour are not saved
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:22:46 UTC
I have a document error1.odt with text and a picture (see 1.png). The contour of the picture doesn't get saved correctly. I click with the right button on the picture, choose wrap and edit contour (see 2.png), then I resize the contour the way that it becomes as big as possible (see 3.png). Then I apply this and save the document as error2.odt. (The changes are applied, see 4.png). When I close OOo, reopen it and reopen error2.odt, then I looks like in the first screenshot (see 5.png). error1.odt and error2.odt are quite similar, only settings.xml differs. I can't add the odt-files because they have ~ 3 MB, and I wasn't able to reproduce the error with a new document with a smaller picture. This also happens with m154.

ES->Hbrinkm: as described, the contour size is not saved (neither in 2.0 nor in 1.1.4). I uploaded the bugdoc at: Q/bugdoc/issuezilla/060000/62029.odt
It looks like this also happens with tiff graphics (see following duplicate issue)
*** Issue 70288 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. ***
This seems to be a general issue with contour flow around images - no matter if it's an "auto-generated" or "manual" contour flow it doesn't seems to be saved. In some szenarios it's impossible to save the contour flow uncorrupted - no matter what. I'll provide a test document with two attached images. If you try to enable controur flow (automatic) for both images at least one will be corrupted if you reopen the file. Strangely this doesn't seem to happen, if the images are embedded instead of attached.
By the way - I can reproduce this issue in OOo 2.x and in the new 3.0 I'm not sure about the 1.x. However - this issue is quite annyoing if you try to create some more compley layouts. I would really appreciate it, not to see this one in 3.0 Final!
