Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 6187
Crash when saving a file and mounted NFS volume is down
Last modified: 2003-05-20 16:31:53 UTC
See subject. I need someone to confirm this, but suddenly OOo repeatedly crashes ("An unrecoverable error has occured...") when I want to save my document which otherwise goes perfectly. The only reason I can think of that this might go wrong is that currently an unstable server in the network is down again, and one of its partitions is mounted.
There is an error message on the console: Run-time exception error; current exception: com::sun::star::system::SystemShellExecuteException Cannot throw an exception from a terminate function
UL=>TM: I will never understand why this bug was in "word processor".
SBA->UL: Because it happened with a Writer document and (yet too little) people give it a second try with a Calc document, knowing that it is the component "Framework" if this happens to docs of other apps, too... Tell me about it... :-( Reassigned to Thorsten.
Problem doesn´t occur in a SO 6.1beta anymore and won´t therefore occur in an OO 1.1.beta ! The handling of files, opened from a network volume which is disconnected at the time, the file is going to be saved, has changed. So this problem is fixed.
This task is fixed or worked in OOo 1.1 beta2.
