When opening presentation application, it crashes even before the splash screen 
appears, with the message:
Soffice: illegal operation, etc... blah blah
It appears that the other components are not crashed, as the equation editor is 
currently open, and was not shut down when I clicked "close."

This is a fresh install, build 619 on Win98 SE.

Interestingly, when I openened the presenter by dropping a document onto the 
desktop shortcut, it opened up just fine.

no, I got it right, but when I submitted the change, trackzilla moved on to 
another issue.  It's the program's fault!

Thank you for your issue. Issue 721 contains the same problem, which is already 
in progress. So this bug is closed as double.
