When spellchecker is called up, the whole program crashes (freezes). Sometimes 
spellchecker works for several uses and other times spell checker will crash 
the system upon upon first use.

Spellchecker did work when I first downloaded program, but this issue 
developed after I used program several times with no major option 
changes.

I am sorry to have wasted your time. This is a duplicate to issue 
4502. I will be more careful to avoid doing this again.

SBA->jmhopgood: This issue was closed 6 (six) years ago. If you have a problem
with the current version of OOo (OOo 2.3.1 is available, OOo 2.4 will be
available soon), please tell the exact version you use [via menu: Help - About]
and describe the scenario. 
Issue reeports based on current versions do bring us further than "why
questions" about Issues that were fixed years ago. 
Yes, some issues CAN re-appear for whatever reason and yes, sometimes a
different cause CAN lead to a seemingly similar defect. But the cause of "a
crash" can differ and only a developers debug efforts can tell the exact reason.
