Description Unknown 2002-06-24 23:59:57 UTC
When I import the following RTF-File in Winword 97-2000 RTF-Format, Openoffice
stops working/freezes. It must be something in the underlying structure. This
ist the template for my faxes - and all documents based on this template show
the same behavior.

Martin, thanks for including a file in your issue.

Duplicated issue on Win NT 4.0, OO 1.0.

File opens fine in Word 2000.

Comment 5 caolanm 2002-07-17 16:57:54 UTC
cmc->ama: In the .sxw example attached if the cursor is positioned at
the indicated point and delete backwards then there is long pause in
layout, eventually a looping louie assert and the section is redrawn
at the height of the page. I think that is the problem with the
original rtf document.
Comment 6 andreas.martens 2002-09-30 09:59:08 UTC
Ok, there's seems to be a problem in the layout routine.
Comment 7 andreas.martens 2003-01-20 20:50:17 UTC
AMA->FME: Sounds like a section loop?!
Comment 8 frank.meies 2003-01-23 14:17:42 UTC
FME: Loop has been fixed in sw/source/core/layout/fly.cxx rev.
1.37.36.1. There are still some more formatting problems -> #i10886#.
Comment 9 frank.meies 2003-01-23 14:19:46 UTC
FME->QA: Please test sections with columns thoroughly.
Comment 10 frank.meies 2003-01-27 11:13:51 UTC
FME: cws sw004
Comment 11 stefan.baltzer 2003-01-30 16:04:30 UTC
SBA->FME: As discussed, the .sxw file Caolan attached works now in CWS
sw004 but the original file still loops. Yours again...
Comment 12 frank.meies 2003-01-31 13:19:23 UTC
FME: Next try:
sw/source/core/text/layout/calcmove.cxx rev. 1.33.36.1
sw/source/core/text/layout/fly.cxx 1.37.36.3

Comment 14 stefan.baltzer 2003-02-03 17:29:36 UTC
