Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 5959
IssueZilla-component "de" desired
Last modified: 2003-07-14 11:52:33 UTC
Hi Louis, we'd very much like to use IZ more than currently (e.g. 5454) to organize our tasks. A IZ module(component of our own ("de") as "es" would be helpful, but is not yet in existence. I gathered this was part of each project, to be created automatically. Please check out what's going on so we can start using IZ more actively. Gruß, Timon
Hi, nothing has happend concerning this issue, an IssueZilla-component called "de" still hasn't come into existence- which is bad because we'd like to use this as our primary work-distribution tool in de and having a seperate component in which we can do everything with the issues without bothering anyone else would be useful. BTW: What is the best way to call attention to an Issue without anoying people too much? Gruß, Timon
Hi There is actually a process to adding IZ components that I am slowly beginning to understand. It has not been documented. Previously, I added components and descriptions on my own, but it is better to do it according to process, so that we do it right. Michael Bemmer (whom I'm adding to this IZ) is in charge of it and has been doing the work himself. Project Leads can assist him, and should, especially if they know how. Essentially, there needs to be a description of the component, and an initial contact. But we need to organize this. Whenever we add components and subcomponents, Michael must update them for each new release. The Project Lead should be able to carry on in this, I think. Michael, do you want to help Timon here? I can help him with creating the new issue component and we can do the description and provide a contact. But you might want to suggest a way of organizing the language points. louis
Hi, I'm willing to be the initial contact, is the description you mentioned for http://www.openoffice.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi or do you need something more elaborate? Timon
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi?component=de just displays: >>>No subcomponents defined. Sorry. There needs to be at least one subcomponent defined for this component (de) in order to report an issue against it.<<< We really would like to sue this.
It's there, it works, great, thank you. Closing this issue.
Really closing it now.
