Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 59455
Heading numbers disappearing and re-appearing
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:03 UTC
The attached file follows a strange circular pattern of disappearing and re-appearing heading numbers: 1. Change anything in the file 2. Save 3. Reload Every second time I do this, all the heading numbers disappear. Repeating always results in the opposite situation.
Created attachment 32497 [details] Example file
in the attached file I don't have heading numbers to begin with; changing sth., saving and reloading doesn't bring any heading numbers up to the front, so, do you have a "better" example file or can you give a step-by-step description how to reproduce the problem?
MRU->OD: this document has a very odd behaviour. When you enable the Outline numbering in the Outline dialog, nothing will happen to the Heading paragraph. If you then activate the numbering manually on such a heading, the number correctly appears - When using undo, it will not vanish. So there seems to be an initialization problem.
OD->MRU: Defect no longer occurs in OOo 2.0.1 - please verify and close this issue.
set status to WORKSFORME - reason: see above.
The problem does not occur anymore with OO 2.0.1 or newer. But: you have to enable the numbering for every Heading solely, because of a bug in an earlier version of OO for every paragraph the internal property "not numbered" has been assigned to these heading paragraphs.
