Not reproducible on my machine. Give more information about your system. Thanks. My system: Caldera OpenLinux Workstation 3.1.1, kernel 2.4.13, Gnome-Desktop, XFree86 4.2.0, german version of OO.o
Here is my system: Debian GNU/Linux sid, kernel 2.4.18-k7, glibc 2.2.5, KDE 2.2.2, XFree86 4.1.0, french version of OO.o $ locale LANG=fr_FR@euro LC_CTYPE="fr_FR@euro" LC_NUMERIC="fr_FR@euro" LC_TIME="fr_FR@euro" LC_COLLATE=C LC_MONETARY="fr_FR@euro" LC_MESSAGES=C LC_PAPER="fr_FR@euro" LC_NAME="fr_FR@euro" LC_ADDRESS="fr_FR@euro" LC_TELEPHONE="fr_FR@euro" LC_MEASUREMENT="fr_FR@euro" LC_IDENTIFICATION="fr_FR@euro" LC_ALL=
I retried to reproduce your problem and I succeeded ;-| The attached document only 'crashes' OO.o when starting OO.o with that document. If OO.o is already running, the document opens fine. This is reproducible on my machine as well, so locale-settings or localisation of OOo should not make any difference. Close all instances of OO.o and then try to open the document -> 'an unrecoverable error...may be restored...' I'm therefore confirming this one
This bug does not occur in OpenOffice.org 1.0.1. Therefore, I'm marking it as fixed.
This task is fixed or worked in OOo 1.1 beta2.
