Description haakonme 2005-11-03 11:20:44 UTC
Please allow for saving in multiple formats at the same time.

By opening, editing and saving the OpenDocument file, all the other formats would
contain the latest version. Updating documents on a web site which offers many
formats would then be a snap.

There is already code in place to pick a standard format for saving. Underneath
this option, you could add an a check box with the label "Save in multiple
formats at the same time". Once checked, you should be able to add from one to
all export formats OOo supports, and where you would like to save them.

I quote a little from David Sugar over at
http://blog.freesoftwaremagazine.com/users/d.sugar/2005/11/01/the_blind_leading_the_blind_in_massachus

"...a little more about ODF and blind accessibility. Being a pure XML format,
for example, it could be possible to transform and dual-publish state documents
both in ODF and daisy XML talking books."

to raise awareness as to why saving in multiple formats is a good idea.

Cheers,
Haakon
