Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 57027
menu for available commands/ functions and shortcuts
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Extras-Anpassen-Tastatur (in german version) - the menu for adapting shortcuts - shows a list of available shortcuts. But the commands/ functions that can be connected to these shortcuts are divided in groups (in german: Bereich (Applikation, Ansicht, Bearbeiten, ...)) 1. I would like to have _all_ commands/ functions in one group. 2. I would like to have the possibility to print the list of all available commands/ functions and of all available shortcuts in one textfile (with two columns (one for the shortcuts and one for the commands/ functions), so that connected shortcuts and functions/ commands do appear in one line). That would be good to learn better to use OO. Also in other components then writer.
Reassigned to ES.

The problem is still the same. The separation of the commands in several groups is difficult to understand, not always clear and makes it hard to find commands or to get an overview over all possible commands.
wish 1: In Tools-Custimise-Keyboard in the „Category“-field should be included „All“. Selecting this should bring up all available functions in the „Function“-field. (The Can't Undo and Can't Restore-nonsens should be changed (see issue 44243.) wish 2: possibility to export a textfile with two columns: available shortcut | space oder applied function space or applied shortcut | available function so one can see, 1. which shortcuts are still unused 2. which functions do exist 3. which shortcuts do work with which functions
btw: the help entry to this menu is wrong (at least in german) (different font sizes, missing heading „Zurücksetzen“) And it is not very well explained, what Speichern (save) and Laden (load) do. In older versions, one could just copy/move/rename the .openoffice.org/3/user/config/soffice.cfg/modules/swriter/accelerator/de/current.xml - unfortunately also not explained in the help.
