Description atlanx 2005-10-30 03:14:50 UTC
If you make the flowchart symbol "decision point" and enter text there and set
the alignment of the text to centered, the centered text looks not really centered.

Please have a look on the attachement.

Reproduce:

Open new Draw Document.
Place a flowchartsymbol "decision Point" in the document.
dobleclick on the symbol
write text in it
the the allignment of the text to centered
look on the result.

Looks not centered, or?

Hi atlanx,
I checked with 2.0 German version WIN XP: [680m3(Build8968)] and can not confirm
the problem as visible in your screenshot.
Please check your settings in Menu: "Format - Text" and if you can not solve the
problem there, pls. attach a 'testdocument.odg'!

This is a bit strange. I have now changed the styles for formating graphical
elements for the first object with this problem back to default. (double click)

Then I have made some changes on the style i normaly use and set it back to my
style. And now it works. But only for the one element i have made this.
All other objects with this style are having this style still.

I will attach the file, so you can have a look.

p.s. The settings in Menu: "Format - Text" are ok. I had nothing to change there.

Now I have made an new style special for this rhombus objects to give them a
different color and the failure is back and i can't fix it.

p.s. I use now for testing the english version of OO2.0 but the original
document was made in the german edition.

@atlanx
I checked with 2.0 German version WIN XP: [680m3(Build8968)] and ofund out:
It seems to be not a general OOo problem, but something with your "Styles and
Formatting".

I checked format for your "Decision Point" (1 click to drawing object, Menu:
"Format Paragraph" and found in "Indents and Spacing" a 10mm "After Text
Indent", what causes your problem. This after text indent does not exist for
your other DRAW objects.

If I insert a "Decision Point" with my own OOo, all looks fine and there is no
"After Text Indent".

I can heal the problem with your "Decision Points" in your document on my PC by
setting Format (after F11) fist do "Default" and then back to "Objektbeschriftung".
Any Idea how you have got that 10mm "After Text Indent"?
