Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 5609
SOFFICE caused an invalid page fault in module SW641MI.DLL
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
Hi, I had oootext and oooimpress documents open simultaneously. From oooimpress I selected and copied an object into oootext. On saving the oootext document I got this error: SOFFICE caused an invalid page fault in module SW641MI.DLL at 0167:1e2a7293. Registers: EAX=8b2ae803 CS=0167 EIP=1e2a7293 EFLGS=00010286 EBX=1e2a71d0 SS=016f ESP=0093cc18 EBP=00000064 ECX=0338eef0 DS=016f ESI=03d2da20 FS=39af EDX=8b2ae803 ES=016f EDI=00000000 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 8b 58 08 8a 86 06 01 00 00 a8 02 74 16 8b 8e ec Stack dump: 03d066e0 1da40006 03616900 1e2a71d0 0093cccc 1e2b11e8 03d2da20 03d066e0 0093cccc 00000000 00000010 03d2da20 0093cccc 030a7ff8 030a7ff8 00000000 I tried it again, but got the same result. BTW, the oootext document has been created using that application but I the presentation document was created in Powerpoint.
Created attachment 1872 [details] Slide # 3 of the ppt file contains the object that caused oootext to crash
sba appears to have died without telling us.
SB->AMA: I fear I can be of little help here :) Please take care of this bug.
AMA->SBA: Some XML-warnings but no crash. Who could reproduce the bug?
Hi Andreas / Stefan, Just to check I was not wasting your time, I gave it another try and boom... SOFFICE caused an invalid page fault in module SW641MI.DLL at 0167:1e2a7293. Registers: EAX=27328299 CS=0167 EIP=1e2a7293 EFLGS=00010206 EBX=1e2a71d0 SS=016f ESP=0093c0f8 EBP=00000064 ECX=0375f318 DS=016f ESI=0381cf40 FS=2a87 EDX=27328299 ES=016f EDI=00000000 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 8b 58 08 8a 86 06 01 00 00 a8 02 74 16 8b 8e ec Stack dump: 03818e10 1da40006 037ba680 1e2a71d0 0093c1ac 1e2b11e8 0381cf40 03818e10 0093c1ac 00000000 00000029 0381cf40 0093c1ac 01ea7230 01ea7230 00000000 The sequence of events: I opened a new text file. I opened the presentation file with the object I wanted to copy. I did a select all, copy and switched to the text doc. I did paste and save.
Looks ok in a 644m8. Can be reproduced in OOo 1.1 beta1. Please test in beta2 when it's there.
