Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 5604
Writer crashes when saving a file in its native format
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
Writer crashes upon saving a document in its native format. It says something like: There has been a non resolvable error. All documents where saved an can be resumed on restart. I translated this from the Dutch build so it probably isnt the exact text. The document loads fine. I put the document up at: http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/j.vloothuis/verslag.sxw If I just ignore the message and keep on working in my document there seem to be no problems with saving.
Jeroen, thanks for posting this issue. Can you attach the file to this issue? There is a link in this issue called "Create a new attachment" that you can use to upload the file. I tried going to the link you supplied, but the file was not on the server.
I did not have the original document anymore. But testing the Dutch build on a newer version of the same document(which i made with the normal build) for a few days didnt reveil the error.
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
