Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 55717
Label margins incorrect in new label document
Last modified: 2007-05-22 22:02:14 UTC
The margins in new label sheets are too far to the left, if no documents have been opened before the label sheet is created. This only happens in Writer and Base. To reproduce: 1.Make sure all instances of OO are closed. 2.Open Writer or Base. 3.Go to File -> New -> Labels (or use icon with drop down arrow). 4.On the "labels", change format to 'Sheet', select any Avery label. Click on New document. In this case, the cursor will be right up against the left hand side of the label. To see where the margin should actually be (approx 7.5mm to the right), repeat from step 3. If OO is opened using any other component instead of Writer or Base, then the margins appear correctly. If any document is open already when the label sheet is created, the margins also appear correctly. I have tested this on about 6 Avery labels and a few other brands, and on two PCs with the above setup, and the results are the same. Thanks! :)
Reassigned to HI.

No response, works for me with OO2.2 on Suse 10.2 - resolving WFM.
